You folks have been on at us to stock these for ages but because the OEM manufacturer will only cover any warranty replacement when CV joints are fitted to the vehicle they are made for (Porsche) rather than you fitting these to your VW. We can not replace these under warranty if you do fit them to your van. By the nature of why you will be fitting these in the first place does go to show that with your van set up at the height it is going to be then you will be going a bit crazy at times… We just know it!

So for those you who don’t know and are wondering what the heck we are going on about then here goes…

The stock VW T25/T3/Vanagon has CV joints that operate within a 17° angle from gear box/stub axle and that is less than the angle the CV joint will be operating at when you have a heavily lifted van. These Porsche CV joints work at a higher angle of 23° as opposed to 17° and people fit these so the CV joints will be in ‘range’ when the van is lifted. Many Syncro owners have been using these for years with some amazing results. So we are now happy to supply them to you but on the understanding that any warranty is void.
