We didn’t just want something that fit. We wanted something better — a purpose-built, direct-fit steel wheel that could stand up to the real-world demands of overland travel. Something tough enough for the trail, yet styled with intention. We’ve seen what works and what doesn’t. We’ve felt the difference between gear that looks good and gear that’s built right.

We love the OEM look and durability of the classic VW 15″ and 16″ steel wheels — and we respect what they’ve done for the T3/T25/Vanagon community. But we also knew the style needed a refresh, and that alloys — while sharp-looking — just don’t cut it in the wild. One crack, and you’re stranded. Steel? You can beat it back into shape if you have to.

So we took all our years of road-tested experience and set out to design something new — a steel wheel that looks as tough as it performs. Not a rehash of tired OEM designs. This is something sharper. Stronger. Better.

And yes, we loved the idea of true beadlocks — but with road legality in mind, we went with a simulated beadlock design to deliver that aggressive, off-road-ready look without compromising compliance.

Important Fitment Note:

These wheels use tapered fitting seats, unlike your original OEM shouldered fittings. To fit these properly, you must use a wheel nut conversion set, which we stock for both 2WD and Syncro 4WD vans. Find them under “Related Items” on this page.

Note: As UK wheels, these do not come with EU TUV certification, which is not required for UK use.
