We did offer these some six or more years back but as we didn’t have the fabrication shop to hand like we do now they were crazy expensive to have reproduced back then. Even in mild steel.

This is one for all of you who have a factory Westfalia T25-T3-Possibly Vanagon or LT Florida that have the genuine Westfalia LPG tank fitted. There was an option as part of the ‘rough road’ package to have these extra guards fitted (see the patched up, battered and bruised original from the CVC Westy Syncro on the right of picture 1 and in picture 2.  We do have a quite high van and although with where we go you would expect some battle scars but it did get us wondering on how more valuable this may be for people with lowered vans also. That LPG tank is quite valuable under there hey!

As soon as I hear a sharp rock hit the guard and grind against it I know to back off. This has stopped my LPG tank from having a rock though it in the past as well as kerbs and all other obstructions you find in commercial car parks doing serious damage to the tank. These are very easy to fit and there is no need to remove the tank completely to fit one.

Made from quality stainless steel in house by CVC here in West Sussex UK. Because we are now producing our own parts in the fabrication shop we have daily access to right here in West Sussex UK we don’t have to be messed around by suppliers or import costs or delays.
