Not every van needs a full heavy-duty winch bumper setup. Some do and we offer that for you with our HD winch bumper. Sometimes you simply want a strong, well-made front bumper with the option to add spotlights or a light bar, while retaining the classic factory-inspired appearance of the VW T25/T3/Vanagon .

Our bumper starts with a factory-style base bumper with a finished 3mm thickness, giving it substantially more substance than many of the thin aftermarket alternatives currently available.

We then integrate our A-frame design into the bumper before the complete assembly is:

• Powder coated in a durable satin black finish

The result is a properly finished, one-piece bumper solution designed to complement the rest of your van rather than looking like an add-on.

And importantly, this isn’t simply a thin bumper with a separate A-bar bolted onto it.

The design brief was straightforward:

Create a strong, classy front bumper that gives you somewhere to mount additional lighting, while matching the quality and styling of the rest of your van.

The A-frame styling has been designed to work alongside our rock sliders, ladders, rear wheel carriers and other CVC accessories, helping to give the whole van a consistent, purposeful appearance.

We think the result hits the sweet spot between classic VW T25/T3/Vanagon  styling and useful modern functionality.

Don’t Pay £500–£550+ for Less

We’ve seen the prices being asked for some alternative setups, and frankly, we think customers can get considerably more for their money.

For example, we’ve seen A-bars using relatively simple mounting arrangements advertised at over £250 on their own. Add a factory-style replacement bumper at around £171+, potentially requiring additional finishing, and you’re approaching £500 before you’ve even got a properly integrated finished bumper.

We’ve also seen examples sold as complete “bull bar” bumpers where the construction consisted of relatively thin, poorly formed tubing poorly welded onto a budget replacement bumper. One such setup we encountered had visible deformation and ripples inside and around the bends and was finished in Raptor coating — yet was being sold for over £550.

Because of their size and weight, they aren’t the easiest items to transport, and despite our best efforts to package them securely, minor paint scuffing can occasionally occur during carriage. Any such marks can normally be dealt with easily with a small touch-up.
