Condition

The SYNCRO drives as if it were only a few years old. Everything works as if it had just been broken in. It is clean, unwelded (as far as I can tell) and in unique condition all around.

(The SYNCRO has been standing in a hall for two years and started up with the first turn of the key. It passed its MOT the next day. Comments: 1. Handbrake needs adjusting 2. Idle speed too low)

Value

I bought the SYNCRO over 10 years ago. Even back then, some people said I had paid too much. Today, its value has risen significantly (!). In short, the SYNCRO is not only a dream car, but also a real investment. (The expensive T2s are now priced at over $80,000—and there were no SYNCROs…)

Since I bought the SYNCRO, I have been watching the market. In that time, there have been maybe two or three really good ones. But never one with a high roof.

Engine

The car starts immediately with a cold start. It drives like a dream. Unfortunately, I don’t know the exact mileage. But we have another SYNCRO (in Portugal) – and it recently got a new engine. And this car drives just as well.

Features

Everything is original, nothing has been tampered with. The car even still has the chemical toilet (if you like that sort of thing…)!

Complete camping equipment, with refrigerator and stove. Power steering, green sticker for inner city areas, auxiliary heating and trailer coupling.

And an immobilizer!

There is also a load of additional and replacement parts, which testify to how carefully the SYNCRO has been maintained. Among other things: a replacement front windscreen (including rubber)

Why is it being sold?

We bought the SYNCRO 10 years ago instead of a house in the country. We drove to lakes and often stayed there overnight. Or in the forest. Or by the sea.

We now have a house on the edge of the forest. And the SYNCRO stood in a hall for two years.

Any defects?

There is no T3 without rust. The SYNCRO has a few small spots. At the top of the high roof. On a rear side window. At the front behind the bumper. None of the spots are rusted through! I have derusted and sealed them.

Locks

The SYNCRO has locks for the rear and front axles. The third lock can be retrofitted without much effort. Cost: approximately $2,000. I can have this done upon request.
