This CVC produced product is to cover and protect your exposed push rod tubes. Smooth, underside skid surface to stop twigs and small stones, mud etc damaging the push rod tubes. Absolutely no cut out areas for obstacles to poke through! Put a hole or bad dent in these fragile numbers and it is a show stopper! It only takes a small rock or a branch or twig in long grass to ruin your trip. Not all vans had factory covers and the ones that did are often in poor condition as they had a feel of Kit-Kat wrapper and road salt would dissolve them, EEK!

We looked at the factory replacements and thought we could do a much better job of it now the vans are so old and the exhaust systems fitted are much of the same. With the factory thin guards they have to be fitted to the engine and then at the top they are fixed using the exhaust studs and they are often rusted or corroded and difficult to remove. Quite often the exhaust fixing tabs are the first to rot through, leaving the factory guards flapping around as you drive doing more harm than good. Our guards are thick and made of stainless steel, so you may choose only to fix them at the engine side. We have made the fixing tabs at the exhaust end so you can use them if you have exhaust nuts or studs that can be removed and then once fitted you can then simply remove them in the years to come when your exhaust will have corroded for easy maintenance of the push rod seals or just to give that area a clean. Or you can just leave them off if you feel you don’t need those. We also made these with elongated fixing holes so there is some adjustment also if needed to get them fitting easily.
