If you own a VW T25 T3 Vanagon  camper van, you’ve probably noticed something…. especially if you’ve gone all in with a full build. Most of the heavy stuff like your fridge, water tank, gas bottle, cupboards etc ends up on the driver’s side. And guess what? All that weight can cause your van to lean, leaving it looking a bit off-kilter.

So, how do we fix this? Simple! After a little bit of trial and error, and a touch of good old ingenuity, we’ve designed a set of suspension levelling spacers to help balance things out and bring your van back to where it should be.

What we’ve got here are two high-quality, aluminium spacers that slot neatly above your springs. The front spacer fits between the rubber spring insulator and the vehicle body, making sure the spring. The rear spacer does the same.

The spacers come as a set, one for the front, one for the rear.

Now, let’s talk about expectations. No two vans are exactly the same, and even with all the careful testing we’ve done on our own vehicles (and on customer vans), some slight variations are to be expected. Depending on your build, you might find your van sitting perfectly level, or it might still have a tiny lean (maybe 5mm or so). We’re aiming to make things better, not necessarily perfect, so don’t worry if you’re not absolutely dead-on. What’s important is that these shims will definitely improve the stance and reduce that lean.

As a general guide, our spacers will counteract roughly 20mm of lean on a VW T25/T3/Vanagon, measured from the wheel arch lip to the floor.

So, if you’re looking for a simple cost effective way to level out your camper and fix that annoying lean, these VW T25 T3 Vanagon suspension spacers are just the ticket. Easy to fit, built to last, and definitely going to make your van feel more balanced and stable on the road.

We do refer to this as “The Westy Lean” but most camper converted vans suffer from this lean without this product fitted.

Fitment note – the front shims can not be used if other front springs spacers are already fitted. Lift springs you are all good….
