We are proud to launch our new 3 window Westfalia roof canvas for VW T25 T3 Vanagon.
Roof canvases, we have seen and fitted them all. Everything from drum tight “German quality” canvases that are most often too small and you start to get those wear marks where the holes appear down the sides because of the folding and overstretching, to the baggy, ill fitting and leaky ones.
We looked into this and now offer a great fitting canvas that is good quality and a consistent good fit, just like the original Westfalia roof canvas was. We just added side windows with nice curtain tie backs to improve your Westfalia sleeping experience.
This roof canvas is for later vans with roof canvases that are screwed in on the lift up part of the roof and have the aluminuim fitting rails visible on the outside of the inner part of the roof. The original canvas of this type is either beige or grey so we made both options for the OEM look. This one is beige.
We offer a full fitting service on request. Prices are listed here. Please drop us a line to book the work in.

Dave wernham –
So I bought this around Xmas and have just finished fitting it a few days ago. I fitted it myself with no help .I’m lucky enough to have a decent size garage so I could have the roof up although not fully .Probably took me about 20 hrs in total, just took my time and left it when I got fed up with the struggle,.I replaced all the screws with stainless steel ones , the originals were pretty rusty, got them from local hardware merchant for about £10. Don’t buy them from Brickwerks , would have cost £100+ . I just got the screw sizes from Brickwerks site .Watch the instructional video on here for tips. Fairly straightforward to fit but the corners when screwing canvas to the van tin roof are very very fiddly , I used a 1/4 drive ratchet with a Phillips bit to get in , no room for impact driver or screwdriver in the tight corners.Fold canvas in 1/2 and mark the middle is critical to get it even . Pulled the van out of garage to put roof up and lock in position, the canvas is all nice and tight and looks a great fit . Nice and neat , no sagging or creases . Very pleased with it . Looking forward to giving it a try out . It was a bit of a pig to fit by myself so if you can get someone to help it would be better .
