Description

This CampervanCulture.com VW T2 Westfalia roof rack kit is as sturdy as we could make it. The bars themselves will not bend and are ideal for carrying surf boards or kayaks. If fitted towards the rear of the roof it should be OK to lift still with a couple of light surf boards on but obviously with a Kayak you will need to remove it if you want to lift the roof at night. The bars are attached to the side of the roof via our aluminium roof brackets included in the kit that bolt to the side of the roof (stainless steel fixings supplied). When the roof is pulled down they sit in the gutter taking all of the roof rack load there rather than on the fibre glass roof walls. The side aluminium fixing brackets are shot blasted, etch primed and powder coated black.
