This is without doubt the nicest aftermarket bumper on the market.

We are extremely proud of this one and offering it in two options. This will allow you to buy the base HD bumper if you feel you will never need a winch and add to it later if needed, or jump in and buy it all together at a better combined price rather that doing to it over time bit by bit.

We are only offering these at the moment when requiring a full fitting service by us that can be arranged so please contact us about that one for a fitting cost at our HQ in West Sussex.

Option 1 includes – 

The HD steel front bumper powder coated in matt black with aluminium skid plate and steel side mounting brackets also coated in matt black. The top of the bumper is pre cut for the attachment of our winch plate  (not included) that is designed and machined to match perfectly with the only winch we offer for this system (also not included as part of Option 1). The bumper will also feature two lashing points on the front to use as you see fit. 

Option 2 includes – 

The HD steel front bumper powder coated in matt black with aluminium skid plate and steel side mounting brackets also coated in matt black. The side mountain brackets will feature some discreet branding on the final model. The top of the bumper is pre cut for the attachment of our winch plate that is included that is designed and machined to match perfectly with the only winch we offer for this system and is included.. We opted for Goodwinch simply because of its reputation for quality and value. The winch comes with hawse, 30M of 10mm rope (not wire) to keep the weight down and for safety reasons. The bumper will also feature two lashing points on the front to use as you see fit.

The design of this amazing bumper took into consideration all of the things we didn’t really like about what else is on offer and we have come up with something totally unique. Strength was key and by having so may folds and angles, this makes the bumper amazingly strong. Approach/Departure angle was something that was also considered greatly. We took the angle measurements from the rare VW factory drop down carrier that we have been using on the CVC Syncro Westy that is usually found on Tristar models etc and used that to follow the line up and through the under side of the front of the bumper. This design will both clear the way through long brush and help you get through that deep mud or watery crossings. We also looked again at where VW fitted a winch as a showroom order option on the 16″ Jagdwagen and opted for the same position for our winch position. Because this bumper is mounted directly to the front chassis rails so it could handle the winch, the standard Syncro or 2wd clam shell spare wheel carrier or Syncro front bash plate couldn’t be used. You all must know by now we do a nice rear swing away carrier and as most of you will be running bigger wheels than the piddley and rather silly looking 14’s that came with the van anyhow so have the spare sat at the back on one of those. We made the complimenting skid plate in aluminium to keep some of the weight down as much as we could. and the side mounting brackets look great as well as protecting the sides underneath. Drilling to the front beam is required and the old small factory towing point has to be removed. Lets face it, you won’t be needing that any more! Fixing points used on the front chassis are some of the factory position points for the front factory skid plate that may need widening slightly and extra drilling.
