Description

This bulb is a super power saving LED tube bulb that replaces the horrible interior florescent tube bulb in T25/T3/ Vanagon Westfalia camper vans. In fact it fits all standard 300mm florescent tube light fittings and has a much improved lighting feel as well as the obvious power saving benefits of LED technology that means you can leave it on without running your battery flat. The light is not directional and has a defuser that in our opinion makes it hard to tell that it is an LED light at all as it is that good.

This is not something you can just buy from anywhere, this bulb has been specially made for us to our specification by an electronics company so we can now offer you instant power saving awesomeness that doesn’t need time to warm up to work. This is not a cheap strip of LED ribbon poked inside of a tube like can be found on Ebay and make your van look like a fair ground ride. Apart from the unique defuser the bulb has been de bugged to adapt to DC10-30V voltage, so when the vehicle voltage fluctuates, the lights will not have any flicker.

To fit this bulb is simple, all you need to do is bypass the ballast (that ball of circuit board inside the fitting that makes a florescent tube buzz and flicker). Just cut and connect the switched live wire to the connector that holds one end of the bulb. On the other end where the bulb is held just cut out the ballast from that circuit and connect the wire going to the bulb holder directly to the incoming negative wire.
