ARB really went to town on this one.  They spent a lot of time researching the effect of wind noise from roof racks.  It’s called “vortex shedding effects” and they have come up with a way to keep those down, with bespoke wind deflectors.   Each one is pressed to the desired vehicle shape, meaning this is bespoke and significantly reduces the wind noise and almost eliminates it in most vehicles.
