Description
It’s worth using a good quality flex for any outdoor electrical cabling on your solar panel array. This cable is as good as it gets. It contains a 4mm2 tinned copper core, with a double layer of insulation – the outer sheath being highly abrasion-resistant (and UV resistant) to provide maximum protection.
Suitable for even our largest panels over short distances – and a good choice for smaller panels too to avoid significant voltage drop where longer cable runs are needed. For large runs on sizeable solar panel arrays we recommend using our single-insulated cable, and running it in a conduit.
Ideal for use with larger solar panels over 15A (approx 200W at 12V or 400W at 24V) and for longer cable runs.
