This time we headed west and onto Dartmoor National Park. Alan and Jed arranged to head into the park not really knowing where they would end up as usual.
A meeting with a cool group of guys called www.flyonix.com was arranged for a part of this trip so a big thanks to Alex and Rupert. We were able to step the video making up this time and it is all due to the fantastic support we have received from the CampervaCulture.com community and subscribers through the sales of our cool tshirts, Westfalia Skylight parts and other goodies over the last couple of months. You guys made this happen and a big thanks to your ongoing support.
Please feel free to comment and don’t forget if you subscribe for free to the website via email you get to see whats been added first.

Nice – loved the flyby scenes of the vans cruising through the forest.. hope to see more of this in the future :)
Me too, glad you liked it Marius.
Cool rock.
Thanks, they are called a Tor apparently. Don’t worry though as I had no idea either until that weekend and now I am Tor mad.
Loved this guys, put a massive smile on my face! – the aerial stuff looked great – took me a while to click which bits were filmed from the quadrocopter, as it all blends in so nicely.
Really must explore dartmoor, how many of the places you went would be possible in an un-lowered 2wd T25 do you reckon?
I would say about half of them Rick. LOts more to see that you can get to in a 2wd though.
Wow great camera work again,
I miss my syncro.
You should of never sold it you div hehehehe….
That’s got to be the best vid yet Jed and Al and Harriet. Very professional. I sort of grew up on Dartmoor so know a lot of the places (learnt my early rock climbing on Hay Tor). Crossing Fingle Bridge is a real breathe in experience. Did you go up the Fingle classic trials section just over the bridge? That would be a good climb in a Syncro.
Hi Guys, we will have to include you in one of our videos when we come and meet up with Jake later in the year.
Thanks guys , nice to have some new video always fun to watch .
Thanks Rody, always nice to hear from you.
Wow, this is just great. I think it’s clear now that you guys need one of these quad copter rigs.
C’mon boys, chop chop!
We will need to sell lots more shirts to be able to buy our own hehehehehe…
Another epic vid Jed, and yet more inspiration to the masses to get out there and do some discoverin’ ! Brilliant.
Hi Jonathen, if one person takes inspiration to get out there then the whole thing is worth while for us. Glad you liked it.
It was like Lonely Planet with intresting stuff and people, These Vids should be hitting mainstream TV outdoor, travel and lesure shows! Hey! Could Jed be the new John Craving??? :)
Hi Andy I used to love to watch the Lonely Planet series. Woudnt that be an amazing job to do.
Jed
JED DESDE UK DIRECTO AL FESTIVAL DE CANNES!!!!, EXELENTE VIDEO, LAS TOMAS AEREAS, SON GENIALES. SALUDOS DESDE BAIRES!
Gracias Claudio, hoy Inglaterra mañana Holywood …
That was great Jed, how you gonna follow that!
Hi Robert, hopefully we will just keep making these videos and they will get better every time. http://www.flyonix want to work with us again and they have a bigger flying platform with a better camera called a Red Eye to use next time.
Wow you’ve really raised the bar, these vids are getting epic.
I agree with Andy we should be seeing this on TV!
Well if any TV people are reading this we would be happy to do something.
Wow this is really great to watch. So very professional. I watched it three times in a row to discover all the different angles. Excellent!!
Thanks Rob, glad you liked it. We tried to make it a video that people would want to watch more than once.
Jed, these are getting more professional.
The wife wore her diff lock T shirt to the Sydney VW Nationals last week. Of all of the thousands of people there only one syncro owner got the joke.
Expect more sales to Australia now.
Nice one Mate, feel free to give people the heads up your side on our new video.
What started off as a great video turned into a fantastic video. The camera techniques are really great and if this is anything to go by the africa trip should be a block buster success…thanks again for sharing you’re passion. Roger
Great video guy’s, hats off and a big cheer!! As I’ve just got the Syncro back on the road, i’m looking to take him off road again. Where about’s on Dartmoor did you go? I recognised Fingle Bridge (kissed the wall with the mud guards before!) Also, Al, I’m down near Bude and always up for a little off road trip!
Have you guy’s seen the Volksworld Camper and Bus Cruise 22-23rd June (Guildford to Bournemouth) I’ve got my ticket so should be able to lower the tone with a slightly tatty Syncro amongst the shiny Splits! possibly going to go for an evening/nightime off road session near Guildford on the Friday. Jed – could probably use those spots on the front of your bus!
Take it easy.

What an amazing vid guys. I always enjoy your guys trips the difference of the countryside compared to S.A. Maybe I’ll send some vids up after some of our Syncro trips into Africa!
Well done and thanx for sharing.
Rob.
Great Video Jed. Love the shots from the air. brilliant stuff!
Jed, you are the PRO!!! Awesome!
Greetings from shiny Finland!!!
Fantastic production quality, guys. I lived (loved?) for several fantastic years in Buckfastleigh, Dartmoor. Its an amazing place- we rode horses (and drove cross-country carriages) all over it. So many wild places to explore.
The vid brought back fond memories. Had I only had my Syncro back then!! (of course, I would have had to ship it from California…).
Thanks, and keep up the wonderful documentation of life à la Campervan.
