VW Syncro camper with only 40,000 miles. SOLD

The owner says,

“We got the van over 5 years ago and run it in the summer for a number of years going on holidays to the highlands of Scotland. It came from Switzerland via some lads in the Army who went to by some Land-rovers at the Swiss army sale and came back with this. It had been used as a radio van , so has hook up plugs next to the rear no plate. It is a factory window/mini bus so would make a ideal camper, the only off roading we have done in her is wild beach camping in Scotland, she is in very good condition nearly factory condition a little TLC and she will be concourse. As you can see the rear bumper has a dint in it but there is a new bumper in the van ready to fit ,the only body damage is a ding on the near side rear panel next to the swage line. The only reason I’m getting rid of her is I have too many projects now so the wife has TOLD me to sell something. “

    Hello,

I am very interested in the green vw syncro thats for sale. I am searching for a nice syncro. I’m a realy entouciast! I had an vw syncro 16″ red one with a dehler roof really nice one, i sold it because i want a van with a original roof so it can fit in my garage.

I do have some questions about it; what is the first registraition year (It is inportant because the roadtax is free if the car is from 1986 or older), When was the last MOT? is there some repairs to be made for the next MOT? Do you have some more pictures? from inside, the critical aria’s withs need some tlc, the gutter behinde the front bumper, the foot steps in both front doors, the rear fenders, the seem thats horizontal behind the driverseat (outside) the engine room, unterneeth. as moch as possible.

Hope to here soon from you!

    Many Thanx!

    Best regards,

    Arjan
